The Lighthouse and Longgu Village are not actually opposed to each other. They don't represent the West and the East as some suggest. They are two different choices under high pressure. The Lighthouse might be more conservative; after learning the truth, it chooses to keep some secrets and create a lie for everyone to survive. Longgu Village chooses to confront things head-on. In the end, it's unclear which is better or worse; they both represent different aspects of existence. So, it reflects the idea of a community of shared human destiny.

2. Ling Cage Season 2 has kept everyone waiting for so long, and there's been constant online urging for updates. Can you share what the team's mindset has been behind the scenes?
At the end of today's premiere, we showed a VCR that features some of our main colleagues and friends. Their expressions reflect the current state of our team. Actually, 1.8 kilometers away, they are still working overtime. Our company is located 1.8 kilometers from here, and they hope to use the last bit of time to improve any areas they feel regret about. For our team, we know we cannot create something perfect, but we must produce something we believe is the best. Thank you, everyone.

3. Can you share what preparations have been made for Season 2 in the years following the release of Season 1?
In Season 2, compared to Season 1, we have no less than 10,000 shots and no fewer than 3,000 special effects. The asset reuse rate is extremely low, and the difficulty has increased several times compared to Season 1. We are making our efforts and learning to take on challenges, and we hope everyone can support us.

4. We can feel that Ling Cage Season 2 has created a brand new world, including the scenes from Longgu Village and many characters like the Awakening Traveler. Can you share how you created such high-quality visuals?
What I mentioned earlier aligns with our direction. This is a relatively large world. It's not just two or a few; it encompasses many diverse elements. Regarding the visuals, we conducted many tests beforehand. After extensive testing, we selected the best visual effects and made slight adjustments. This was also a result of everyone's effort, and we ultimately chose a suitable approach, leading to today's visuals.

5. In the initial episodes, what new challenges did you face in the motion capture work? Please share with us.
There were some very interesting aspects during our motion capture sessions. For example, you might remember a scene from Ragnarok where there are many elderly characters. In Wuhan, where I am from, we have parks like Zhongshan Park and Jiefang Park. When we scouted locations, we noticed many elderly people doing interesting and energetic activities. We wanted to incorporate some of these vibrant visuals when introducing the characters from Longgu Village. During the scene of Ragnarok, we aimed for it to be more entertaining. For instance, some colleagues might choose to collide in one direction, while others might opt for a frontal approach or from behind. The atmosphere on set was quite joyful during this performance, and we hope everyone will continue to watch, enjoy, and look forward to more. Thank you.

6. Now it is equivalent to the main character group entering a new ensemble. Among them, there may be newly introduced characters speaking Cantonese. I would like to ask the creative team how they came up with this design?
It (Longgu Village) is a community, and after the apocalypse, regardless of race or bloodline, they gather together. It's not just Cantonese; there are also people from Henan and Shaanxi. When Mark is wandering down a street, are there people (shouting in dialect) in front of him? In the future, there will be many people of different skin colors appearing in Longgu Village; it is a big family.

7. I want to represent many fans of Ling Cage and ask if there is a possibility of Rain Bing being resurrected in the future?

What can be said is that her lifespan is different from that of ordinary people; it will be slightly longer. She encountered some issues during her research on ecology, which severely affected her body, so this is the current situation. As for the future, she... let's wait and see.

9. There will be a lot of merchandise for the second season. I really like the biological armor of the Lin Yuan Zhe, so will there be related merchandise?

10. In the first season, when Mark and Rain Bing realized that their feelings were love, and after Mark brought back a lot of supplies, everyone on the lampstand admired and trusted him the most. At this moment, he lost everything and turned into a Devourer. 12. In the first season, Mark transformed from the male lead into a monster, and in the second season, he appears more human-like, almost beast-like. He will become more human in appearance due to seeking potential. In the first episode, during the opening scene, Mark had a monologue, right?
He already mentioned that during this time he received treatment from Longgu Village, so he will gradually transition from his previous state to the current state; there will be a transition.

13. Then I saw that the first three episodes threw out a lot of settings, and it made me feel that with so many settings thrown out, the second season may never be finished. I wonder if the director has any plans or preparations for the subsequent third season?
Yes, there is preparation. We are actually trying our best to simplify and refine these settings. Yes, there are also preparations for the future.

14. Shaping adults and shaping children are different. I feel that when creating characters like children, there are so many kids involved. What do you think our creative team finds to be the most challenging aspect?
The challenging point with the children from Longgu Village is that we are already adults who have gone through life, and the innocence that can remain in our memories may become less if we don't deliberately explore it. The more experiences you have in society, the more your innocence may dissipate. Other than that, I think everything is fine. Because for the future of the children, when I plan, there will still be stories that unfold. And that includes the 8925, as well as some other children in the village, who will strive to grow up; this generation will grow.

15. Today, I saw the Devourer in the first three episodes that wasn't in the first season. There is one that looks like a rooster, with a comb on its head, and I even heard its clucking sound. I have seen many explanations; some say that the Devourers are transformed from humans. I would like to ask, is this rooster-like Devourer transformed from a human, or is it a character that combines both human and animal traits?
What you just mentioned is actually a core part of our design. It was mentioned earlier that it might be a transformation from a human, right? It actually has a humanoid design, and features like human hands are reflected in it. So, the final interpretation of this is with our director. From our art department's perspective, the visual effects must first and foremost be captivating and have very important characteristics. Often when we design, we use a term called "communicability." For example, when you share with your friends, you might say, "I saw a monster that is quite interesting, with something that looks like a rooster's comb." Regardless of where it is, once they see this monster, they will believe what you say, rather than it being a monster that is hard to describe, like something very dark and large. So that's how it is presented visually.

16. In the first three episodes, Boss Bai mentioned that there are three other settlements like Longgu Village in this world. Will they appear in the subsequent plot?
Yes, there will be, and they will be different. Because everyone says that in this apocalypse, each has their own way of hiding from the Devourers' sight. So, there will be some differences in how each group perceives the world, including their psychological state and their adaptation to the environment. Yes, this is something to look forward to.

17. I finished watching the first three episodes. The first two episodes focus on the dramatic scenes, while the third episode features very exciting fight scenes with Maiduo. I would like to ask how the sound effects and motion capture shape the character of Maiduo?
Because in this season, there are many aspects that we find interesting in our Chinese culture. For example, in our Maiduo, the part with the long spear incorporates movements like the "returning horse spear." For instance, when fighting the Shiji Beast, they come in groups. If a Shiji Beast approaches from the front and you just defended against it, and suddenly another Shiji Beast appears from behind, at that moment we can execute a very effective attack move. When there are people in front, the turning radius is relatively large. The returning horse spear is a movement used when being ambushed from behind, and it looks like this.

I want to mention a little anecdote: usually, Maiduo radiates energy like a little sun, warming everyone, and later she engages in many battles. Because many of the women present are like this too, she has a gentle side but also embodies a very resolute and brave strength as a woman. Moreover, earlier, a friend asked about the many children in this episode. When shaping the character, I remember the director shared an interesting story with us. He showed us footage of his child coming home from school and asked us to imitate it. We watched that footage and mimicked the child's movements. While adults walk normally, children are different; we observed how kids walk when they leave kindergarten. Each of their rhythms is particularly interesting, so we picked out some points we found fascinating to imitate and shared them with our friends in Longgu Village. Yes, I hope everyone will like it.
